Trevor called me upstairs when they were playing and said, "I spelled God." Savannah said, "I made a pumpkin." (out of pretzels)

Grandpa and Grandma came to visit for Thanksgiving! Grandpa made potato klub (a Norwegian dish) with the kids.

We went cabin camping with G and G.

Trevor has never been into coloring or drawing so when I saw him draw this lion the other day I was really impressed. The stripes were put on, "So it would look really cool."

How many birthday presents can you wear/hold at one time? That is 8 for Savannah!

You'll notice we didn't have any furniture in the house. We decided to keep our old house "staged" (for selling) and for about a month just had beds, card tables, and chairs here at our new house. It is amazing what you can live without! Well, we didn't get much action on our house and so decided to rent it out for the time being.

1st day of preschool

Trevor didn't do so hot in preschool last fall and so I decided that we will just work on things at home until kindergarten. A couple friends and I have gotten together to create a home preschool rotation for our kids.

August, 2010

Grandpa and Grandma came to visit! Terry and my dad were hard at work (and Trevor too!) building some shelving for our garage.

Grandma always has fun and does a great job with the kids! I'm still learning from her. :)

Savannah got to explore a fire truck that came to visit a friend's birthday party. Poor Trevor was sick and had to miss it.

It has been a whirlwind month for us. It started off with us moving and Terry starting his new job. Next, and on a sad note, one of our dogs (Daffy, the smaller one) died. The next week we had to have the air conditioning repaired on our old house (which is still an on-going thing because the service was very poor and Terry doesn't even think they replace the correct part). Most recently we found a septic leak in our front yard and feared the worst. Praise the Lord the problem was very minimal.

A little fun when Terry got home from work.

Terry update: Terry will be starting a new job on Monday. His role will to be to help develop the tax department of a consulting company. We are excited about this new opportunity that God has opened for him. We celebrated our 10th anniversary, closed on our new home, and Terry resigned all in the same day!!

Happy 32nd Birthday to me. Wow, I'm old!!

It has now become Trevor and Savannah's tradition to have silly string and poppers at every celebration.

Getting a little use out of our hot tub. I think we used it about 10 times in the 9 years we lived there.

I forgot to put a Father's Day picture my post from last month (yes, there was silly string involved!). Trevor picked out a Dinosaur coloring book for Terry and Savannah picked out some apple sticks. She said they were to put in our garden for apples to grow.

Grandpa and Grandma came to visit and stayed with Trevor and Savannah when we went on a 10th anniversary trip to Niagara Falls. One of grandpa's favorite things to do is to make, and eat, desserts! :)

We decided to cut our trip a little short due to the weather, seeing everything we had planned to, and...the offer we placed on a house being accepted! We will be moving at the beginning of August to a house about five minutes from where we live now.

We went cabin camping with some friends. Good thing they were cabins and not tents...it rained for a couple hours that night.

We went strawberry picking with our community group.

We made lots of homemade jam with the strawberries. It is so good I'll never go back!!

Trevor learned to ride his bike last fall but hadn't yet mastered stopping and starting. We ended up putting the training wheels back on since he wasn't enjoying it. We took them off this month and after about a week he was doing wheelies! Most of them aren't this big but I just happened to get this on camera.
