Terry dressed up as Santa for the kids at our community group. We were for sure our kids would realize it was him, but they didn't!

We went to visit two of Terry's brothers in Tennessee. Along the way we stopped to go sledding! I should say Terry and kids went sledding. I stayed in the car taking pictures. :)

Having a little fun with our dance game on the Playstation. For those of you that know what it is, they really are just dancing around as it plays.

Trevor was reading to Savannah before bed! And, yes, those are Thomas the Train hamidowns from Trevor. :)

Yummy smores! You may notice the lack of pants on Savannah (and her wearing Ethan's shirt, Sharon!). We did the no pants/underwear potty training with both her and Trevor and it worked great! She is now officially potty trained!!

Our neighbor Emma and her little sister Ella come over all the time. We love playing with them! Savannah loves "playing" with Ella, but doesn't like it so much when Ella tries playing with her toys. :)

This is what happens when Daddy is in charge of breakfast. Just kidding! :)

Happy 34th Birthday! We wanted to make Daddy a horse cake, but since he loves chocolate chip cookies, we made a horse cookie instead.

Daddy had to go to Colombia, SC with work for the week so we went to stay with him one night. We stopped at the zoo before meeting up with him.

We headed back to the zoo with Daddy for Boo at the Zoo. I needed Daddy's help to pet the bunnies.

We were a cowboy and Barney for Halloween.

We went on a "camping" trip with our playgroup buddies. Fishing (minus catching a fish), paddle boating, hot dogs, running around with friends, smores, and sleeping in a bunk bed...what could be more fun?

We went to the Lazy 5 Ranch with them.

As you'll notice, I have a soft cast on my arm. That would be surgery #4 this year. After septoplasty, hernia repair, and two ganlionectomies hopefully I'm done for a while!

Grandpa and Grandma came to visit. Trevor and Grandpa worked hard to build this birdhouse.

Although Trevor and Savannah both have a lot of fun with each other, it is now apparent that their main goal (Trevor more so than Savannah) is to irritate each other!

3 and 23 months

We've established Trevor has one hard head.

3 and 22 months

We went to the beach with Grandma and Grandpa. We had so much fun playing in the sand and water and then we cooled down at the water park in our hotel. (Dunes Village hotel at Myrtle Beach...a great place to go in the cooler months too because of the indoor water park.)


We took a spur of the moment trip to Michigan to visit my family. Terry couldn't get that much time off of work, so it was just the kids and I. I split the 11 hour drive into two days and all things considered, it went pretty well.

We had so much fun with Uncle Kirk, Uncle Paul, and Aunt Jen!

We had a great time exploring at a museum with Grandma and Grandpa.

A little ways past our driveway, and just a couple inches from the road, we found this turtle laying eggs. It was so neat seeing something like that in real life!

It is a little hard to see everyone, but this is from our beach trip we took last month with our friends. Terry is in the white shirt and we are sitting below him. Lots of people and lots of fun!

3 and 21 months

Once again we had a wild and crazy vacation in Isle of the Palms, SC with 17 adults and 14 kids.
Hopefully next month I'll have a picture of the whole group to share.

Notice the soft cast on my arm. I had a ganglionectomy...a cyst removed from my wrist. 2 surgeries down, 2 to go.

In the past two months Savannah has really started to verbalize much more. She periodically will say 3 word "sentences." She still adores Trevor and is always sharing with him and thinking of him. For example, if I give her a little treat and Trevor is in the other room she will call out his name and want me to give her more so she can give it to him. Savannah has started to go to the bathroom in the toilet several times a day. I'm sure it will be a while before she starts telling me though. I really can't imagine not buying diapers or wipes!!

Grandpa and Grandma came to visit to help out after mommy had surgery.

We were so exited when we got a package in the mail. Grandma Bon Bon got us some fun toys that work with the Wii. I'm playing tennis in this picture.

For the past several months Trevor has not been into "sharing" me with Savannah. Thankfully, in the last couple of weeks that has subsided and they have started to actually play with one another, not just next to each other. It is so incredibly fun to watch!

We are starting the pampering young.
