2 1/2 and 15 months

My one year picture (but a couple months late).

How many kids can fit in a sandbox before you hear crying?
(Trevor is in front and Savannah is in the purple jacket.)

What fun!

Nine girls got together for a mountain trip getaway in Cedar Mountain, NC. It was a fabulous weekend with great friends and great memories!
(I'm the one wearing a maroon hat and white jacket.)

Grandpa and Grandma came to visit us. Unfortunately they were sick, as well as Savannah, for most of their trip! :(

Daddy had to replace a fence post so we were helping him out.

2 1/2 and 14 months

We went with some of our playgroup pals to the pumpkin patch.
(Notice Trevor's choke hold on Savannah. I told him to hold her so she didn't fall.)

I get it, Mommy.

Savannah was dedicated this past month.
(They took pictures at the ceremony for us, but we didn't get those yet.)

Grandma came to visit us!

We had heard about the Lazy 5 Ranch, but didn't know what we were missing! All sorts of animals came right up to our car and we got to feed them and touch them. Mommy and Grandma even got to feed a giraffe and pet it's nose. It was better than a zoo!

They also had animals we could feed outside of our car.

2 1/2 and 13 months

You caught me!

Trevor has room time each day and recently he has often spent it reading his library books. He'll look through the pages and sometimes I'll overhear him talking about the pictures. It is really cute!

I'm not much of a crawler any more and I love carrying around my purse. I'm starting to say mama and dada when I want Mommy and Daddy.

Happy 33rd Birthday, Daddy!!
We made Daddy a lion and dragonfly for his desk at work.

Blakley, Kyla, Lainy, Caden, Savannah, Braeden, and Trevor
We had a play date at our house with some friends we hadn't seen in a while.

My new big boy bike!

Hopefully this isn't too detailed for you, but I know the moms out there might be interested...Trevor has been doing great with potty training. He's worn underwear out a couple times so far and everything went well.

2 1/2 and Happy 1st Birthday !! 9/7/07

We had a family reunion (Michelle's side) up in Virginia. We were only missing one of brothers and his family and a cousin-in-law.

Hey there!

Just us boys.

We found an old camera that Trevor loves. This actually took place several times... "Take a picture," he sets it on the couch opposite us, sets the timer, runs to sit with us, "It's red...it's blinking," the camera flashes, "I go check," he looks at the back of the camera (it is not digital so he doesn't see anything), "It's good."

My playgroup friends (and one of my neighbors that stopped by) helped me celebrate my first birthday.

May I eat this too?!

The final face. Pretty clean, mommy said.

Savannah is starting to do more walking. She often starts out by walking several steps, falls, and then crawls the rest of the way. She has walked up to about a dozen steps so far, even stopping, bending over, and picking up things along the way.

I was about 12 here.

I ran to the library by myself the other day and I smiled at an elderly woman that was sitting on a bench near the entrance. She smiled back and then asked, "When does school start?" I didn't think I heard her right, so I asked her to repeat it. She asked again. I laughed as I asked how old she thought I was. She responded, "Oh, about 12." I told her I was 30 and had 2 kids, which she said she didn't believe. I know being told you look younger than you are at my age should be a compliment, but I'm not quite sure about that one!!

2 years and 11 months

**Savannah took 3 steps on her own today. But, Terry says they don't count because he didn't see. He was wrestling with Trevor!

Split personality?!?!
Terry planned a little surprise party for my 30th birthday. I was definitely surprised!! One of the main events was a little dance competition on the Playstation.
Some of my fabulous friends helped me celebrate!

We went to the Isle of the Palms, SC for my birthday weekend! The weather was overcast when we got there and we didn't think we would do too much so we didn't put them in their bathing suits. But, Trevor and Savannah had other plans! It sprinkled some but the temperature was perfect so we played in the sand and a little in the ocean the whole afternoon.

The next week we headed to Kingsport, TN for a week long vacation at a lake cabin with all of Terry's family!
Despite being 30, I'm not too old to do some tricks! Actually, it was Terry doing all the work!

I had fun, for the most part, tubing and on the jet ski.
My cousin Ezrah was born 4 months before me and my cousin Malachi was born 4 months after me.

2 years and 10 months

Our afternoon ritual often involves playing in the pool!

We like to meet Daddy for lunch every so often and instead of going to lunch this time we went to Discovery Place. They have a great dinosaur exhibit that we loved!
Our little cutie.

Savannah has gone from learning to crawl and pull up last month to walking around furniture and standing up on her own for up to 10 seconds this month. Our little baby somehow already chipped her front tooth a little. I'm hoping it wasn't the rocks we fed her! Just kidding, we have no idea how it happened!

Our potato head family!
A couple days later..."Take a picture my potato."

I went to my first football game with Daddy!
We watched one of Daddy's friends play arena football.

2 years and 9 months

This was a big month for Savannah. First she learned how to scoot herself up into a sitting position, her first tooth started coming in (with two more following the next week), she started pulling up (which she loves to do now), and lastly started crawling!! She still has a very quiet and content temperament and just adores Trevor! Trevor is a typical two year old and is "learning" how to share and that everything isn't "mine!" :) He loves to talk and we are working on counting up to 20. Both he and Savannah love playing on the trampoline, in the sandbox, and the little pool.

Look at all we can accomplish when mommy turns her back!

Clean up time!

Finger painting is for babies! It's all about body painting with mud!
